COVID AND THE EFFECTS ON HEARING AND VISUAL HEALTH

If before it was advisable to carry out a hearing and visual assessment now even more so; there will be people who have already had COVID and other asymptomatic ones who may have been slightly injured by the virus.

Our project is aimed at the prevention of very serious problems within the blind and deaf sectors.

This virus, as is generally known is still under study, its effects and damage to health for now are reflected in the vision and the hearing system because it is a respiratory disease but it is not only because of who contracted the virus but because of what we have to live today and adapt to a new system of life in which technology is part of our lives and includes all ages, even the early ages that have to be in front of a computer, tablet or smartphone to be able to attend virtual classes.

Through our project we need to reach people especially of school age, that is children and young people since it is at this age where given the circumstances, even the most important senses are being irreversibly damaged.

We have to prevent and help take care of the most important senses of perception in our young people who are the future of humanity and have a population without sensory deficiencies or at least lower the statistics.

HOW?

PREVENTION ------ DETECTION -------- CURE

For this reason and in consideration of the economic crisis that the planet is experiencing, we decided to implement a bank of technical aids, in order to offer the community these alternatives that could well be adapted to the needs of some patients.

LENS BANK

Help is always welcome. Frames are needed for the manufacture of lenses according to each and every patient’s pathology.

The costs will be much lower if we could achieve donations of lenses frames.
