Micro-Enterprise program
This program consists of helping through workshops and sponsorship to carry out a certain activity with the aim of supporting people in a state of unemployment and vulnerability. Primarily we are targeting women who do not have jobs and people with some type of disability that allows them to develop an activity which generates income and thus support people who want to work but cannot due to various circumstances.
Interested persons may participate in workshops such as: Cutting and making garments such as lingerie, sportswear, pastry workshop and handicraft workshops.
The objective is about creating a brand for the foundation and being able to reach out and raise awareness in the community so that when people buy our products they support the cause of those who not only are unemployed but are living under very complicated situations.
An online shop will be created to promote their work and entrepreneurship in a virtual way.
As self-management to get this project on track by promoting our own products, but we will also need the support of those with generosity of heart to begin to gather resources. There are many people, whom are especially very vulnerable such as battered women who cannot aspire to anything other than receiving physical and psychological blows week in week out.
At this stage we must also consider according to each case, psychological support warranted.
The first phase is to recruit at least fifteen people in a pilot plan interested in these activities. For this project we will need volunteers who know about certain trades and sponsor interested people with essential finances and materials.
Together in unison if we help one another we can achieve a more integrated society of those most challenged and in greatest need of help and love.
